IOMAC 2013 - Guimarães, Portugal, 13-15 MAY 2013
After the first two IOMAC Conferences held in Copenhagen in 2005 and 2007, the third conference held in Porto Novo in 2009 and the last conference in Istanbul in 2011, it was decided by the Scientific Committee, that the next Conference is going to be in Portugal.
It is our pleasure to announce that the Fifth IOMAC Conference (IOMAC 2013) will be held in Guimarães, Portugal, on 13-15 May 2013.
We would like to welcome all researchers, educators, practitioners, and students who are interested in operational modal analysis, instrumentation, monitoring, and data analysis. As usual we will arrange a pre-conference course for those who like to get quickly introduced to the field.
The proposed location is the city of Guimarães, in the north region of Minho, Portugal. Guimarães is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and in 2012 will be the European Capital of Culture (see www.guimaraes2012.pt). The New York Times, the prestigious North American newspaper, chose Guimarães as one of the recommended destinations for 2011 (“The 41 places to go in 2011”)
We will work for you, to be satisfied both scientifically and socially.
